The Corvin Alabaster Column Wall Sconce is architecture reduced to two elements: a slender column of natural stone, and the geometric bracket that holds it. Each tube is carved from genuine natural alabaster and set into a clean right-angled arm — no ornament, no curves, nothing decorative. Just a straight line of stone rising from the wall like a lit candle carved from alabaster.
Offered in three configurations — a single upward column, a double column rising in parallel, and a twin column running up and down through a center bracket — and in warm brass, matte black, or brushed nickel. Its narrow footprint suits the places a wide fixture can't go: flanking a mirror or bed, marching down a hallway, or framing a doorway in pairs.
No two pieces of stone are ever the same
Alabaster is a natural stone, so every piece carries its own veining and subtle variation in color. The fixture you receive may therefore differ slightly from the images shown.
Select the size marked (*2) — two together come at a better price than buying them separately.
Alabaster is a natural stone, so every column has its own veining and subtle color variation. The piece you receive will differ slightly from the photos — this is inherent to real stone, not a defect.
The slim vertical column looks especially balanced mounted in twos — flanking a mirror, a bed, or a doorway. Its narrow footprint suits hallways and other tight walls where a wider fixture won't fit.
The sconce takes a standard E26 bulb; we recommend a warm-white LED for the softest glow through the alabaster. It hardwires to a standard wall switch — switch not included. For dry indoor locations only.
Three configurations — a single column, a double column, or a taller twin — each with the same slim architectural profile.
Mount two, one on each side of a mirror or bed.
Twice the glow, same height — fuller light for a vanity.
Light travels both up and down the wall.
Mount the sconce so its center sits about 60–66″ from the floor — roughly eye level. Flanking a bed, space a pair to frame the headboard evenly; flanking a mirror, keep them just outside the glass and 28–40″ apart. In a hallway, space fixtures 8–10 ft apart for an even rhythm of light. All three configurations share the same slim depth, so you're really choosing how wide and how tall you want the glow.
A column of stone. The angle that holds it.
The Corvin Alabaster Column Wall Sconce began as an exercise in subtraction: how few parts can a light have and still feel considered? The answer was two. A slender column carved from natural alabaster, and a right-angled bracket that lifts it off the wall. No curves, no ornament, no decorative flourish — the geometry does all the work, and the stone does all the rest.
That discipline is what gives it presence. Set against a bare wall, the column reads as architecture rather than accessory — a clean vertical line, squared and deliberate, like a candle carved from marble. Then it's switched on, and the hardness disappears: light sinks into the stone and returns as a warm, honeyed glow, revealing the veining running the full length of the column. Sharp in silhouette, soft in light.
A column of natural stone on a right-angled bracket — sharp in silhouette, soft in light.
The bracket is squared and deliberate — no curves, no ornament — so the fixture reads as architecture rather than decoration. Then it's lit, and the hardness disappears: light sinks into the stone and returns as a warm, honeyed glow. A clean line by day, a soft one by night.
Choose a single column for a bedside or hallway, a double for a vanity or larger mirror, or a taller twin that throws light both up and down the wall. Same slim profile, same architectural line — scaled to the wall you're lighting.
At just 4.7″ wide, the single column fits the tight spots a wider fixture can't: beside a mirror, along a hallway, framing a doorway. It takes a standard E26 bulb and hardwires to a common wall switch — and it looks especially balanced mounted in twos.

Light passes through natural alabaster, revealing the stone’s depth and softly illuminating its surface.
Natural alabaster softly diffuses the light within. Its mineral structure transforms a direct light source into a warm, gentle glow that brings the stone to life.
Each piece carries a pattern formed by nature. Veining, tone and translucency vary from shade to shade, giving your fixture a character that is uniquely its own.
Solid natural stone gives the fixture enduring texture and presence. With gentle care and suitable lighting components, its distinctive beauty can be enjoyed for years.

Ask us about size, finish and hanging height.
Statement lighting should feel visually balanced with the room rather than simply filling empty ceiling space. Use these recommendations as a starting point, then consider ceiling height, furniture dimensions and the visual weight of the fixture.
Send us your room measurements, ceiling height, installation photo and preferred design. Refrovulet can review the scale, hanging height and possible configuration before you order.
| Space | Recommended Type | Simple Size Direction |
|---|---|---|
| Dining Room | Chandelier / Linear Chandelier | Relate fixture width to the dining table rather than the entire room. Linear designs often suit longer rectangular tables. |
| Kitchen Island | Linear Pendant / Multiple Pendants | Keep the lighting visually inside the island length and allow comfortable sightlines around the fixture. |
| Two-Story Foyer | Statement / Cascade Chandelier | Taller spaces can support greater vertical scale. Consider both viewing height and the lowest point of the fixture. |
| Staircase | Cascade / Multi-Light Chandelier | Select a configuration that relates to the stairwell height and remains visually balanced from multiple levels. |
| Bedroom | Pendant / Chandelier / Wall Sconce | Use a softer scale and avoid placing suspended fixtures where they interfere with circulation. |
| Bathroom / Vanity | Wall Sconce | Position around the mirror and face height. Confirm the fixture rating before use in damp locations. |
